DU introduces five year journalism course.

DU introduces five year journalism course. DU has launched a 5-yr integrated journalism course in which  the students will have the option to withdraw after three years with a bachelor's degree . JOURNALISM COURSE BY DELHI UNIVERSITY "Delhi University has initiated the process of starting Delhi School of Journalism which will allow students to pursue a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in journalism," said Maharaj K Pandit, chairperson of Delhi University's admission committee. FIVE YEAR COURSE The five-year course will include papers on data journalism, investigative journalism, media and psychology, media and history, editing, writing, documentary making, accompanied by compulsory foreign  languages comprising Arabic, Spanish, French and Mandarin  and regional languages comprising Tamil and Bengali. FEES The programme will have a total of 60 seats and will cost Rs 30,000/semester.
