Final ECA trial schedule
•Many students who may be intimidated by the skyhigh cut-offs at DU colleges, find solace in the ECA quota to realise their dreams of studying at one of these prestigious colleges. 
•The Delhi University relaxes its cut-offs by up to 15% depending on the colleges, based on one’s prowess in the various extra-curricular activities such as dance, music, debate, theatre and creative writing, among others.

•Delhi University released the list of shortlisted candidates for extracurricular activities (ECA) final trials on Thursday. 

•The preliminary trials for admission under ECA categories were concluded on Wednesday.  

•Over 11,000 applicants registered for admission under the ECA category but a little over 3000 candidates showed up the preliminary round.

•The ECA and sports category combined have 5% supernumerary seats reserved.

•The candidates who have applied for two categories can miss one but should inform the authorities.

•Incase of clash go to the authorities in advance and not after the trials are over.

    ECA is very good concept for that students who are good in extra curricular activities. From this student got admission and do some better in these activities which are also useful for their future.

    ECA is good thing at least every one is getting a fair chance it's only few students who are good in studies so they can't take admission on the basis of merit but there are some who are good in other co-curricular activities n coz of that they might not good score much so if they get chance then that's cool n together Everyone can enhance their skill n learn new things yet DU will have more n more talented students
