MAC COMMERCE SOCIETY

MAC Commerce  Society is one such body of department  of commerce in Maharaja Agarsen College,  University  of Delhi that provide a platform for students to open their wings and soar high like an eagle. 


It is governed  under MCS Rule Book and follows a well defined Organisational structure.
It gives good opportunity  for the young commercians to understand  the blend between inner and outer world.
"There is a difference between Interest and Commitment. When you are interested in doing something, You do it only when circumstances permit.When you are committed to something, You accept No Excuses, Only Results."
Keeping this in mind, this Department of Commerce hopes to excel in many more  events in the future with zeal and enthusiasm..
The Society comprises of Teams such as Class Representatives (CR) Team; Conference, Seminar and Workshop (CSW) Team; Trips and Excursions (T&E) Team; Department Library Team; M-C Nova Team; Remedial Class Team; Public Relation Team; Alumni Team; Archives Team; and so on, which are created for the welfare of the students of the department. Every year they come up with package of various  events or seminars for the welfare of students.

1.It organised a three day event  LEAD in 2016 which was a counteraction embracing  an exuberance of business   managerial talent.

2.An Interactive Session on “Indian Media Industry & Brand Management” by Mr. Manas Makani, of The Economic Times, was held .

3.One Day educational trips to Surajkund Mela, Haryana.

4. Maharaja Agrasen College witnessed a very valuable and omniscient session on GST with CA Navya Malhotra in the event GST TALK 2.0.



During the second trip, our Commerce students also visited the J.K. Tyre Plant, at Jay Kay Gram, Kankroli which is anISO 50001:2011 certified plant for Energy Management Systems.
This visits were a direct learning experience for the students, as an insight into the stringent quality processes and innovative mechanisms adopted by the organization.
Various commerce events like Blender’s Mind (Portfolio Management), The Verdict (Moot Court), App MAC, Beg Borrow Deal, and The League(Mock IPL Bidding) & non-commerce events like Through the Lens (Photo Journalism), Survival of the Wittiest (Meme Creation), and Words of Wonder(Quiz) were successfully held.
Here,  learning and innovation  go hand in hand. It unleash the power of ingenious  ceaseless and vivacious  youth of today.

1. Rockstar – (Hindu College, St. Stephens College and Shree Ram College of Commerce) This blockbuster film has been  shot throughout the DU campus where our very adorable Ranbir tried to woo Nargis. We can’t ever forget the scene where Heer and Jordan are dating each other as students of the University, or the song ‘Jo Bhi Mein’ which was shot at Hindu College. And yeah, other bites of the movie were shot in St Stephens and SRCC. 2. Band Baja Baraat (Hansraj College and Ramjas College) Didn’t we all go gaga over this movie starring Anoushka Sharma, a girl who plans to be a wedding planner and Ranveer Singh, a street-smart urchin who gatecrashes a wedding to grab free food?
