CBSE orders re-exams of class 12th economic paper and 10th mathematics paper.
On March 26, Class XII CBSE students were left appalled following the rumours of their Economics paper being leaked on social media hours before the examination. Reports of the question paper being leaked circulated through social media and WhatsApp several hours before the time of the exam. However, CBSE board waived aside the claims.
According to some news channel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed unhappiness about the leak of Class 10 and 12 CBSE papers. Modi contacted HRD Minister Prakash javadekar after the decision of Central education board to reschedule the exams. Delhi Police registered a case on the alleged leak of Class 12 Economics paper following a complaint by CBSE.
The CBSE(CentralBoard of Secondary Education) has decided to re-conduct the (Class 12th) Economics and (for Class 10) Mathematics paper.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a circular today informing about the re-examination and said dates and other details for it would be posted on the board's website.
While the date of re exams have not been announced yet .
Students are unhappy with this decision of CBSE.
This is not the first instance where Board exam papers conducted by CBSE were leaked. In 2006, the police uncovered the leaked CBSE question paper of Business Studies while it was searching for suspects related to the Varanasi bomb blasts.
