Hiking Club,St Stephens College

Founded in 1949, the Hiking Club of St. Stephen’s College is one of the oldest mountaineering clubs in India, second only to The Himalayan Club in Bombay. It is older than such institutions as the Indian Mountaineering Foundation and the Delhi Mountaineering Association. Its list of achievements too is unmatched by any similar college-level club.



EVENTS Details

1.Sports Climbing Competition





The Hiking Club is proud to announce the dates for the 15th National Climbing Competition.
The event starts from 31st of January and goes on till 2nd February.
All those with a passion for the outdoors and a knack to try something new must participate by registering at http://tiny.cc/NCC20.
(Those who need accomodation must register themselves before the 20th of January)

Categories include lead and speed climbing in the under 16 and open category.

Date: 31st Jan - 2nd Feb
Venue: St. Stephen's Gymnasium
Time: 10 am onwards
