A world without finance is a cup  of tea without sugar. In today's  world,  it's  one of the inseparable   economic activitiy of human. It has become the word that one has to lick its tongue through. "FINANZA" society of Dyal Singh college, University of DU increase their  members' credibility and a fine exposure to finance. "They introduce to key players  in the finance industry,  in order to develop the practical skills and lasting relationship required for ample opportunities,  ultimately  a carrer in finance industry". It serves its readers with hot and current economic affairs like GST,  demontisation etc. It organised FINANZA'16 where there was massive participation from different  colleges. With 'Midnight Business Crunchers', it organised a talk ' Kharche PE Charcha' in collaboration  with Bulls & Bears: The Finance Club of VIT Vellore. It has joined hands with many media sponsers , stretching out its reign. F

MAC Commerce  Society is one such body of department  of commerce in Maharaja Agarsen College,  University  of Delhi that provide a platform for students to open their wings and soar high like an eagle.  It is governed  under MCS Rule Book and follows a well defined Organisational structure. It gives good opportunity  for the young commercians to understand  the blend between inner and outer world. "There is a difference between Interest and Commitment. When you are interested in doing something, You do it only when circumstances permit.When you are committed to something, You accept No Excuses, Only Results." Keeping this in mind, this Department of Commerce hopes to excel in many more  events in the future with zeal and enthusiasm.. Clicks  is the place to be if one loves photography. The society was started in 2010 by Laveesh Sharma and Rudransh Nagi.  The society organises exhibitions, competitions, photo walks, feedback sessions where the work by the members is critiqued by senior members, workshops, and sessions by guest photographers for its members.  The work done by the members is showcased at an exhibition during the college fest every year, along with the work of students from other colleges. Photography has improved, it helps to increase confidence, and help to learn how to befriend people. People don’t just learn photography here, they begin to truly enjoy it. The members are given home assignments to go to their home towns or villages and click pictures.  Every moment should have “CLICKS”.

As part of our annual round up series, DU Refresh News takes a look at some college placements across the University for this academic session: St. Stephen’s College The Campus Placement Cell of St. Stephen’s College is a student-run cell which is responsible for handling all aspects of placements and internships in the college. It is associated with 30 companies, including 4 new. The placement season of 2015-16 saw over 80 recruiters visiting campus, the average pay package was around 6-8 lakhs, the highest pay offered was 29 lakhs p.a. Most popular profile- Business Analyst. Lady Sri Ram College LSR is one the prestigious colleges in DU known for its social sciences, humanities and commerce. 1. Rockstar – (Hindu College, St. Stephens College and Shree Ram College of Commerce) This blockbuster film has been  shot throughout the DU campus where our very adorable Ranbir tried to woo Nargis. We can’t ever forget the scene where Heer and Jordan are dating each other as students of the University, or the song ‘Jo Bhi Mein’ which was shot at Hindu College. And yeah, other bites of the movie were shot in St Stephens and SRCC. 2. Band Baja Baraat (Hansraj College and Ramjas College) Didn’t we all go gaga over this movie starring Anoushka Sharma, a girl who plans to be a wedding planner and Ranveer Singh, a street-smart urchin who gatecrashes a wedding to grab free food? Well, their plan started with the famous break-pakora of Hansraj college, and the story covers most of Hansraj’s haunts and hangouts, giving you the authentic DU-ite feeling. MISBA WESTERN DANCE SOCIETY OF SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH COLLEGE OF COMMERCE Does your feet starts tapping to the sound of the music? Do you go violently hang over  and your waist starts swaying when you listen your favorite  songs? Same is with  the Misba Western Dance Society of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Of Commerce.  Misba means first ray of sun and they have been shining rays of light of light of each member of their society. They dance like nobody's  watching and own the the stage with their fantastic performance. Dancing with feet is one thing,  but dancing with heart is another.  Misba comes up with perfect mix of entertainment,  style and technique.
